With all these earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes destroying the major cities and countries, many people are saying that these are signs that our days on Earth are short.

Well, in some regards, those people are right.

Scientists are saying that the recent earthquake that hit Chile may have shortened the days of Earth by microseconds. Apparently, the movement of rocks during the earthquake caused the Earth to shift on its axis.

Microseconds isn't a lot when I think about it; but, if all these natural disasters keep up, those microseconds may eventually add up.
