Hello online world. This is Martin Rand, III (a.k.a. Pyrate). I recently graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. degree in Journalism.
At GSU, I received training in writing news, feature and sports stories. I also found my love for computers and technology, because it was the first time I had to work so extensively with them.
I love the news because it's like a puzzle to me. Seeing something on TV, in the paper or online will only present one side of the puzzle. I like to try to find the other pieces and put the whole story together.
