Last week was very strange week for Ford Motor Company. This was the first time I saw one automaker have bad news almost everyday for things completely separate from each other.

Usually, all it takes is one great achievement to finally get people to pay attention. Hopefully, the statement made by Motor Trend will get the auto industry to realize that electric cars are't made for the future, but for now.
Last month, Motor Trend named the Tesla Model S as the 2013 Car of the Year. Why is this a big deal? The Model S is a 100% electric car.

Am I the only one getting excited about the revamped Blackberry lineup coming next year?
In my friend circle of Androids and iPhones? Yes. But with the rest of the world? No.
That's because Research In Motion, manufacturer of Blackberry, stock has been on the rise. With the assurance that Blackberry 10, the revamped operating system for Blackberry and the software that RIM is hanging the company on for survival, will be released Jan 30, RIM stock has went up nearly 80% since late September.

Google has its giant foot in almost every technological industry today. The once search engine only website has branched out from its beginnings to explore mobile devices, mobile operating systems, an online marketplace, television and now-- cars.

When Disney re-released "The Lion King" in theaters last month, no one (not even Disney) expected it to sell as well has it has. Thrown in the fact that it was being released solely as a 3-D picture, and Disney would've never thought TLK would be the number one movie for two consecutive weeks. With such success from a 17-year-old movie in 3-D, people must love the effect 3-D has on a movie, right? Wrong!
Last week, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, unveiled changes that will soon go into affect on Facebook. The major change is a feature called Timeline, which will drastically redesign users profile pages. It hasn't taken affect yet, supposedly in the next two or four weeks it will, but the home pages of Facebook have already been altered.
Things aren't looking good for Research In Motion. The company that brought us the Blackberry, last week reported its sales has taken a nose dive so massive, it's looking like the Blackberry will be the next smartphone to fall to the mighty superpowers of Apple and Google.
Over the past two years the automotive industry has been in a flux. The top car manufactures were Toyota and Honda. They had the best selling cars and best reputation among consumers. However, due to a bad economy and recent life threatening recalls, there has been a shift in consumer opinion, as well as mine.
It has been a month since the Google+ debut. Judging by the first month, it would seem like everything is going well for the new social network. It's already reached 20 million (the fastest social network to do this) and it's received generally positive reviews from tech-heads in the industry.
