On this day of remembrance, I find it hard to believe there are Americans who cannot remember where they were or what they were doing the morning of September 11, 2001. I know I remember almost every key fact from that day.

This past weekend, I had two events taking place. My birthday and my cousin's wedding were taking place on the same day. So, it seemed like a good idea to go back to my hometown of New York City to celebrate. I could see my family that I haven't seen in years and I could see some of my old friends. It was shaping up to be the one of the best birthday weekends I've ever had.

I've noticed that recently I have been having a lot of deja vu lately. I always wondered what it was, but all my family would tell me is that it's when you do something that you have already saw once before. So, me being a little kid I accepted this answer. But, in my latest encounter with this phenomenon, I had an epiphany.

This is my first time every doing a blog. I kind of wanted to try to do one but never quite understood how to go about starting one. I always have opinions. From everything ranging from music to politics. It's a shame I hadn't started this website a long time ago. Although, its better late than never.
